Corners of my home

On gorgeous sunny days, the sun shines though my windows at home and highlights a little corner.  A little corner such as the bookcase, a painting or one of the boys toy. It kind of says - hey remember me?  You've walked past me and not bothered to stop and admire me for some time!

So now I have stopped, took notice and thought hey that's kind of nice.. I remember you.  So I am going to share these little sunshine corners with you...

The picture is an oil painting of a lake somewhere, I picked it up at a local car boot sale for £1.50.
The shells and pebble are from last years beach holiday with the boys in Lyme Regis.
The red book is a charity shop find, it's called the 'language of flowers', which describes the meaning behind each flower.
The green book is my own child hood copy of Enid Blytons 'The Folk of the Far Away Tree', a favourite read when I was about 10.
Flowers are Sweet William.
Vase, a gift from my friend Holly.

I have enjoyed this, and will show other little sneaky peaks of home in the future...
