Wow, what a difference a day makes! This day was a gift. After all that awful rain, we had beautiful gold sun. Instantly I feel calmer and happier.
I hadn't realised how down the rain made me feel... I need to seriously address this. It rains alot and if I can't be happy when it rains, then what? A grumpy cow forever? No. Need to do some changing.
Made the most of today though.
Went to Royal Victoria Park in Bath. There is a huge adventure playground for the boys, plus it's in stunning Bath and makes me feel good just being there.
Rufus drove a big green double decker bus on the merry go round... he was in heaven. His brother on the other hand moaned the entire way round as he realised his mistake and sat on the top deck of the red bus and then couldn't drive anything! Oh how I chuckled at his blunder... naughty mummy!
So if you are ever in Bath, this place is fantastic for the little ones.
Next time though, I'm off shopping. Can't go to Bath and not go to Walcot Street! Home to wonderful vintage shops, galleries and the utterly brilliant The Makery.... oh yes, next time I will be going alone!
