Today Charlie chose his very first pair of school shoes. Such a momentous day!
Off to the Mall Shopping Centre, to Clarks (where else eh?)
I let him try on a few pairs of shoes, the standard black Velcro trainery style, navy boots, olive trainers... in his eyes none were quite right.
Finally he tried on these and he stood there, looking down, and said 'yep, these are my school shoes'.
Just like that. Such a male!
These are so Charlie, he will always choose the alternate route, be his own man. No way was he going to have the 'school shoe', or a pair which had a digger on (too baby).
I am so proud. Sniff...
