junk shop hunting
Look what I found loitering in the junk shop.
Look at those gorgeous legs and the inlay on the drawers.
It fits in perfectly on the landing opposite the stairs to our attic room.
A chance for me to show off our newly painted floors {please ignore the skirting boards, we haven't quite finished!}
I am delighted with my mid century purchase.... and the best bit? It was £20!!!
oooo I love a bargain me!

ReplyDelete@ Cat - it was the junk shop on our local high street, owned and run by some Polish lads... lucky for me they dont know a good find and everything there is pretty cheap.!!
I am a huge fan of mid-century design, wow what a beauty. Looks great with your new floors too xox

ReplyDeleteI found your blog today whilst googling Bristol junk shop. I love this chest and I think I know the junk shop you mean. I bought some teak antelope in there for a couple of pounds. There arent many real junk shops in Bristol, charity shopping can be quite frustrating so this place is heaven!
ReplyDeleteHello! Bristol is a big place, what high street is the junk shop on please? :)
