camping in the wye valley...

This last weekend of summer we camped in the Wye Valley with lovely friends.
We all were supposed to be at a music festival this weekend, but the festival was cancelled due to lack of sponsorship.... money basically.
So we all took to the welsh hills for some camping fun.
We ate an amazing fire cooked stew.
Toasted marshmallows.
Hunted for 2nd hand books in Hay on Wye.
Ducked in and out of the rain showers.
Played in the river catching fish.
Laughed, drank and relaxed.
Good times... feel very tired now.

  1. Glad you had a wonderful time- that bookshop looks magical and i can't wait for your boys to teach the girls their marshmallow toasting skills. Now give it to me straight- just how cold was it at night? How many hot water bottles do I need to be packing? x

  8. Like the last picture!
What a shame no festival to round off the summer, but extra camping is always good.
If you are around any morning this week get in touch.
