Day 12.
Inside my closet.
I've cheated.
I chose to show my favourite vintage summer dress.
I love it.
I haven't been able to wear it for years, not shifted the baby weight.
I used to be tiny when I first met Dan.
I don't think I will ever be that size again, but I love this dress too much to part with it.
Reminds me of long hot summers, floating around festivals, drinking cider, smoking rollies and dancing carefree!
Ah.... those were the days.

Deletewhat a gorgeous dress - ahhh those were the days - festivals, spending sunny afternoon drinking cider, the days when i could get away with wearing little strappy sun dresses without a heavily upholstered bra underneath....sigh....!!
ReplyDeleteThank you this dress is special. The local festival to us here in Bristol has just got permission to re-start again after about 5 years of not being able to do it. So maybe I will wear this dress, if I lay off the cake! x
