Charlie's new term topic is Knights & Princesses and learning about Medieval times.
His class year was asked to come in dressed in a character of someone who would live in a Castle.
Last night Dan and I made this costume for him.
Dan did an awesome job on the shield and I made his tunic.
A grey (chain-mail style) hoody, a pair of cords, Dad's old t-shirt cut up, Mum's gold belt, Charlie's beloved wooden sword, card tube & foil armour on his arms and a cardboard & foil shield.
I knight of the realm, indeed!
