out of focus home...

*sigh*
In February it is so difficult to take a good image.
Everything is blurry and grey.
Best wait until Spring truly arrives.
I went to the local flea market today, and bought a pretty mirror and a small painting of the pinkest roses.  I will show you when I can.

    1. Thanks Kay!

The bird is by a Mama of one of Rufus' class mates. Here is a link to them: http://www.avaandbea.co.uk/ It doesn't look like they have the birds on their website, maybe email them.

Yes - get an apple... it is rather special! x

  5. I love the blue in your kitchen, and your new water colour taped up is beautiful, i love those colours! Can I ask how you've secured your plates on the wall? I am determined to do something with my vinatage plates, and I think I have a little corner which would be perfect for them!

    1. Hi, Thank you!

The plates are secured by using these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Adhesive-Plate-Hanger-Mixed-Hanging/dp/B005GKGA5S/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1361720153&sr=8-9

They are great. No accidents yet!

  6. Looking really good over there - I passed your house on Friday, btw. Can I steal the colour of blue for one wall of girls room? I need a "night sky" colour without it looking gloomy...

    1. Sam, you should have knocked and came in for a cuppa! Would have been lovely to see you! Yes of course you can. The colour is Blues Blue by the Paint and Paper library.. http://www.paintlibrary.co.uk/ I got it mixed in Bracey's Interiors in Clifton Village. x

  10. Very nice! Love the grey grout in your kitchen tiles. Out white grout is now very stained - I think I need to do something similar. Gorgeous pictures and plates and bits and bobs too.
