New A3 prints...

If you follow me on Instagram or my facebook page - you might have already seen a sneaky look at my two new A3 prints.

FloraEach day I find a new favourite flower... tulips one day, hydrangeas the next... such is the beauty of nature.. you fall in love over and over again.  An original photograph of summer blooms.

DreamsI love to day dream. Lying under a big leafy tree, gazing up at the sky on a sunny day.  An original photograph of an Indian Bean tree.

Both are now available in my Shop.  - take a look in the NEW section, you will find lots of things I've been recently working on.

New in the Shop.
Sunset Trees.
I love the way that trees take on a monochrome colour at sunset with just a hint of orange peach.
Available in A4 size, if you would like a different size please let me know!

p.s. Thank you for all your lovely support for my little drawings, I am mightily chuffed and completely overwhelmed. You are all amazing and I really feel humbled.

good morning...

Good morning lovely people!
The sun is streaming through the windows today.
The last day of Winter here in the UK... thank goodness!
Yesterday we celebrated Mothering Sunday, I was treated to handmade cards, bunches of tulips (my favourite flower), breakfast in bed and the morning to wander the local flea market - ALONE!
Bliss!
I found a West German mid century floor vase, something I've been looking out for, for a while.
Looks pretty good sitting on my sideboard I think.
This weekend also gave me some sweet mentions on my prints.
Here - thanks Emily.
Here - thanks Kerry.
And here - thanks Etsy!
Off to the doctor's in a moment with Rufus - his tonsil's are the size of new potatoes!

saturday...

I have had a lovely day today.
Hanging out with Kerry and Fran.
Sorry I didn't take many snaps, too busy chatting and walking!
My feet are very achy right now.
Thankfully the sun really shone here in Bristol... it makes it a better place to visit.
I do love Bristol... it's so pretty.

When I returned home, I managed to get some product shots done of my prints.
(Kerry I tried to do as you showed me, but alas my camera is being weird... I must look at the handbook!)
So ta-dah (sorry for the bad photos) these 3 are in the Etsy shop.

Right... bathtime...I need to read some stories to my boys.
Have a great rest of the weekend!

spring flowers

Good morning!
It's the weekend and I for one and super happy about that.
Look, look what I did yesterday.
I had some of my prints back from the printers.
My new Spring Flowers Print.
I love it.
Perfectly peachy in spring sunshine!
This will be going to my shop and be available to buy over the weekend. Keeping checking back!
But today is a day for shopping, chatting, tea drinking and cake!
Have a great day!

busy busy

I have been super busy this week.
It's all very exciting.
After much encouragement from friends and family I am busy sorting out prints and cards.
I am hoping to open up an Etsy and Folksy shop very soon.
{eeeek!}
I am a little nervous, I don't know if people will actually buy them!!?!!
Fingers crossed... we will see.

I have some other little projects up my sleeve, I just need to practice and work things out first.
{Suprises}
Hopefully the shops will be up and open in a week.

blue tit

image via eastwitching via etsy

Whilst at the lottie at the weekend we noticed something going on in the nest box in our sycamore tree.
Charlie used his binoculars {a birthday gift from his best mate Lucy}, and discovered it was a pair of bluetits building a nest!
Last spring we had a pair of bluetits successfully raise their young in the same box.
Could this be the same pair returning?
Or one of last years babies with a new mate?
As you can imagine we are most excited about the new arrivals.
I thought I might get this gorgeous print for the boys room, to remind them of the bluetit family.

p.s. Eastwitching's prints are incredible, there is a creature there for everyone.  And the proceeds from the sales go to animal charities.
