happy wednesday...

Good morning y'all!
Just a few images from around the home.
Charlie's birthday cards, bunting and Happy Birthday banner are still up.
Such cheery colours I can't bare to take them down at the moment.
And can anyone tell me how to make my kitchen shelves look neater, yet still function with all our stuff?!  It always looks a mess.
So it's nearly the end of Jan - only 1 more week to go.  Great isn't it?
I saw my first snowdrops at the weekend.  Spring is coming early!
Right, off to buy some Seville Oranges to make some Marmalade this afternoon.. my little Orange helper will be home from pre-school then.. it's turning into a little yearly tradition!
Have a great day.

  3. Just had a birthday in our house too and I can't bear to take down the cheery banner as well, adding much needed colour to the day.

  5. I finished our marmalade this morning. Marmalade toast for breakfast was the yummiest! I love marmalade traditions. In our house, marmalade making is always followed by the making of marmalade cake. Mmmmm. Laura x

hello I think your shelves look great as they are but you could put some cup hooks on the edge of the shelves to hang some cups on and then you could spread it all out a bit more, I also have that tray. Happy days x

  9. Lovely photos. The only thing I can think of for the shelves is to maybe add a row of hooks to the bottom shelf to showcase your favourite mugs! I can see you have some great vintage pieces with bright patterns and colours so it would be great to put them on display.

  10. I like your selves! Just swap everything around a bit so the colors group up! You can also put the cups upright, it is not good for the dust but they will look better. (See what you started me doing, moving things in other peoples' houses!)
